The PPE is an artist run initiative addressing Covid-19. After the initial call-out on social media platforms in April, 34 artists from across Australia, and internationally committed to the project.

Each artist made an editioned print that explored their experiences of the pandemic, with themes ranging from isolation, uncertainty, fear, grief and hope. The PPE provided participants an opportunity to connect with others during isolation, to creatively express their feelings, and improve wellbeing.

The project is inclusive, and brings together artists living with disability, across cultures, and artists practising at different stages in their career. The participants actively engaged with each other through social media, fostering relationships between regional, interstate, metropolitan and international artists.
