Early Works

Growing up in Wagga Wagga, these works on paper explore a fascination with bones, skeletons and carcasses and the ever-present nature of decay in the Australian landscape. Spending several years collecting, cleaning and documenting livestock from across the Riverina, the forms, structures and textures speak to the intimate engagement with various stages of decomposition.

Predominately working in black and white, the drawings and prints utilise materials and techniques easily broken down, mimicking the drought-affected landscape.
