Childhood reflections and memories have been constant. For New Zealanders, the Kiwi is emblematic, its distinctive feather layers provide warmth, insulation and protection. In abstraction they felt symbolic of pandemic realisation, that as it evolves its layers show us that by working together we can both insulate and build community.
